How to update the SaaS Module

SaaS module can be updated through manual upload of the module on the Perfex modules page or by directly from your dashboard by click of button.

To update the SaaS module through dashboard, it’s important you follow the following steps carefully:

1. Login as super admin
2. Make a full backup of your system files and database so you can always roll back in case anything went wrong.
3. Navigate to SaaS > Update/Extension
4. Connect your purchase key if not yet done.
5. Click on the update/download button on the SaaS module card.

Above step will help you update the SaaS module. You can always repeat the step every time to have early access to our nightly builds.

To update the SaaS module by uploading the downloaded file from codecanyon, it’s important you follow the following steps carefully:

1. Login as super admin
2. Make a full backup of your system files and database so you can always roll back in case anything went wrong.
3. Navigate to Settings > Setup > Modules (i.e Perfex module page)
4. Upload the downloaded SaaS module file. (i.e perfex_saas.zip)
5. Click the Database upgrade button next to the SaaS module.

Regardless of the method used to update, we encourage you to have a testing environment where you can test each update before updating your production.
