Some module can show activation error on tenant or perhaps failed to be installed on the tenant instance when the module activation key and info is not shared in the package settings.
You need to share all tenant-activated modules activation keys and or other settings in the package shared settings to avoid this issue. You can do this when you edit the tenant package.
Guide: Activating a Module for a Tenant and Resolving Verification/Installation Issues
If you encounter an issue when activating a module for a tenant in your system and receive an error message stating, “One of your modules failed its verification and got deactivated. Please reactivate or contact support,” or you have assigned a module to tenant through company edit or package but the module not showing up on the instance, you can follow these steps to resolve the problem:
- Ensure you have shared the module with the tenant.
- Navigate to the package settings that the tenant is assigned to. This is where you can configure shared settings for modules.
- Within the package settings, locate and select Advance settings > “Shared Settings.”
- In the “Shared Settings” section, you should find an option to share specific modules license activation details with tenants.
- Find the module that you previously activated for the tenant but was causing the verification issue. You can use the provided search box.
- Share this module settings with the tenant by enabling the corresponding option or checkbox. You want to share settings relating to the module verification or product ID
- Save the changes to the package settings and allow few minutes for your cron job to run.
Once you’ve shared the module in the package settings, the verification issue should be resolved. We suggest you mark the “enforce” checkbox next to each share button but do not “mask”. The tenant should now be able to use the module without encountering any verification-related errors. Verify with the tenant that they can access and use the module without any issues.
By following these steps, you can successfully activate a module for a tenant and address any verification problems that may arise during the process. This ensures that tenants can enjoy seamless access to the modules they need.
